With my work I aim to create paintings that comment on our current culture's integration with technology, and imagine what the world would look like if our blending with technology had to be put into imagery, almost literally. I have taken visual influences from graffiti, electronic music, automotive design, and fashion, and visually play with movement, distortion, and technical lighting. Working mainly in oils I believe that realism is just as important as showing raw painted forms, and the contrast between the two compels the viewer's focus to vibrate between the painted reality and the actual paint on the surface.
